The Foundation is dedicated to supporting the community by providing grants for public, literary and performing art. In addition, the Foundation is building an endowment to fund and maintain the Geneva Arts Center. Whether it is in a city-owned building rededicated to such a purpose or another location, there is a definite need for a building or buildings that will house a gallery, studio space, a theater, educational facilities, and meeting rooms.

The business plan for a center can be found on our website. Such a facility will need an endowment to support its infrastructure and staff – all of which the GFA is committed to bringing into existence.

Examples of future projects the GFA could support:

Musicians to stroll and strum and engage the public throughout the months when weather is favorable.

A sculpture garden with both rotating and permanent works of art.

The opportunities for such projects and commissions are unlimited, generated by the imagination and inventiveness of citizens committed to enhancing the quality of life in Geneva and its environs.

How to donate

The GFA is a 501(c)(3) independent nonprofit organization so donations are tax deductible. Some employers may offer matching grants.
